2008 Pipeline AUT Project – Moomba to Ballera
The "QSN Moomba to Ballera Gas Pipeline Project" refers to the Queensland to South Australia/New South Wales (QSN) Link Pipeline, an 182-kilometre extension of the South West Queensland Pipeline (SWQP), linking the Ballera gas plant in Queensland to the Moomba gas hub in South Australia. Completed in 2008-2009, this project connected Queensland's gas supplies to the Moomba to Sydney and Moomba to Adelaide Pipelines. Originally designed to transport gas from Queensland, the system was later reconfigured to be bidirectional in 2014, allowing gas to also flow from Moomba into Queensland and the East Coast LNG export market
