2013 QCLNG QCLNG Project Narrows Crossings Pipeline Project – Queensland Australia
Queensland Curtis LNG is a major, integrated project to develop Queensland’s coal seam gas resources for domestic and export markets. The project includes a 380km main 42” gas pipeline from the onshore gas fields to the LNG processing plant and export facility located on Curtis Island. The proposed pipeline route crosses between the mainland and Curtis Island at the Narrows in Gladstone Harbour.
The Narrows Crossing Pipeline is approximately 12km and comprises three crossing sections:
Narrows Section 1.8km – tidal water course between Friend Point on Kangaroo Island and Laird Point on Curtis Island.CLNG is a 556km-long onshore pipeline project operated by APA Group. This gas pipeline, with a maximum diameter of 42 inches, starts near Dalby in Queensland (Australia) and ends in Gladstone Queensland (Australia).
Creek Section 1.5km- two creek crossings with tidal mangroves and mud flats on either side.
Marshland Section 1.8km – marshy tidal mud flats andsome mangroves.
The QCLNG project started operations in 2013 and is owned by APA Group.
